We use SQL for Confluence Pro Edition extensively in our Confluence instance. When we had some problem making user macros work or other issues, Appfire support team have been with us until the problems are resolved. As soon as we raise a support ticket, they start working with us for a resolution. Much appreciate the team for their support and coordination.

We try to use this plugin for representation of IT service catalog in Confluence. Using of tables based on SQL-query of SQL for Confluence within macros Table Filter gives us convenient method of visualization data of service catalog from corporate master data system. We have found only one little deficit in functionality of SQL for Confluence: it doesn't recognize hyperlink in the query's result table. This deficit will be removed when SQL-937 Open request is done. We hope that it will be done as soon as possible :). SQL for Confluence is worth 4 stars, that we give to plugin now a little in advance.

Trying to trial this plugin, whenever we try to create an oracle connection. The connection test is validated but when we try to save the profile we get the following message returned: Error while creating profile, make sure profile name is unique. The profile name is unique and we've tried all sorts of names all return the same error.

      Hi Chris,

We really appreciate your providing this information. We've seen other users encounter this error if they've already created a profile with the same name. What happens is that they've saved a profile, but have not gone back and refreshed the list, so they aren't able to see that the profile is already in place. They then try and create another profile and although the list looks empty, behind the scenes, there is a profile with the same name.

If the above info doesn't solve your problem, we would definitely encourage you to file a ticket on our Support Portal, as we do provide full support to evaluators of our products. If you would please provide a few blocks of time that you're free, someone on our support team would be happy to get on a call with you to dig in deeper.

And once this issue is resolved, if your feelings about the product have changed, we would greatly appreciate it if you would revisit your 1-star review.

      Thank you!

We have been using this and some other Bob Swift plugins for several years now. While they are useful the support is sub-standard, when compared to other vendors. Example: last version 8.5 was released 6 months ago had a bug that we reported. We had to roll back to a previous version 8.4 (released one year ago). No progress since on the resolution of the bug.

      Hi Robert,

WOW, so close! We are literally just days away from publicly releasing SQL version 9.0, which comes loaded with all kinds of awesome updates for admins. We've worked quite closely with many of our long-time supporters to design this release and can't wait to launch it!

I spoke with our head of engineering just now, and he confirmed that a new release of Table Library will be part of the version 9 release, and it includes your fix. If you'd like to get your hands on it early, please feel free to reach out to me directly at holly (at) appfire (dot) com. We'd love for you to give it a try and then revisit your review.

We sure do appreciate your keeping us on our toes and for your patience as we've worked hard to grow and scale our teams. Our upcoming SQL release is just the beginning, as soon you'll see releases for all of our top-voted Bob Swift Atlassian apps.

      Thanks,
