Very nice, it would be even nicer if I could display cards from Jira Compass with the same kind of flexibility.

The good: * Live bi-directional sync with JIRA * JQL The bad: * JQL does not have auto-complete (that's _very_ hard to pull off given things like JQLT and ScriptRunner but still, at least field values are available via the REST API) The dream: * Have an easy way to pull related issues - Child issues under Epics - Subtasks under stories - linked issues * Automatically visualize linked issues via dynamic connectors * Use built-in Miro elements (table, story map, cluster) - Cluster child issues under parent - Kanban / Sprint boards in Miro (you can pull board config from the undocumented /greenhopper or /rapid APIs, IIRC) - Estimation board where each column represents a Story Point number and by dropping a card in you assign it that size - Release roadmap where each column is a release, same idea. Basically, have a look at how TargetProcess treats boards, and you'll realize how pathetically limited JIRA is in comparison, and how much more useful - and usable! - it could be with a UI from this decade (or even the last) Overall, if I could only use JIRA as a backend and Miro as a frontend with your plugin, I would actually consider recommending JIRA to my customers for Agile work, which I currently absolutely do _not_

      Hi Peter!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write us such an elaborate feedback - we really appreciate it!

That is correct, there is no auto-complete for JQL in Jira Cards. However, you can reference queries that were saved in Jira directly in the import modal. This means that as long as you save it dirctly in Jira, you can use it when importing a card in Miro. Please try it out and let us know what you think!

And we have good news for your sprint board request - while we cannot give you an ETA and cannot commit to how the details will look eventually, we're happy to tell you that we are currently working on a program board feature with columns for sprints, synced to Jira.

Please feel free to add any other requests to our Wish List!

Super slick integration! Any chance you could also create integration to edit the status of a Jira issue within Miro so that this automatically edits the Jira issue in Atlassian? Whether that would be through the Kanban Board template within Miro or in the 'Edit Jira issue' function. Either would be great!

      Hi Adam!

So nice that you enjoy our Jira cards integration so much!

You can now change the status of the Jira issue on your Miro board: click on your card and in the context menu, select the Workflow option. In the following pop-up, you can choose the status and resolution. This will automatically be reflected in Jira.

We use this integration and it's really good to have a user story mapping in Miro integrated with Jira. There is a bug when creating an issue in Jira from Miro, the History tab always shows the same user as the creator, besides was a different user in Miro. The interesting thing is that the Reporter field is filled with the correct user. Is there a way to fix this problem?

I have run a few tests and found no real flaws so far. I will introduce it to my current project. Minor issues are: I cannot change the color of the cards. Jira's epics and Stories are both green. At least the Epics could adapt to Jira's purple. Even better would be a custom color like normal Miro cards have. The field config is useful, although displaying the epic link (the Jira number) does not help that much. The epic's name would be nice. However, this only works as expected for epics, not for other types. I guess that's due to the Jira API.

      Hi Hermann!

Thank you your feedback! The colour of the Jira cards on your Miro board currently is a default based on the issue type but one of the things we're planning soon to do is enable users to customise the color.

We're happy to let you know that the Epic name is now included in the card!
